Chapter Eighteen

As the door to his hotel room closed behind us, Shadow held me within his strong arms composed of thick-chorded muscle. I brushed up against his tight chest and my fingers found their way to the buttons of his shirt.

I undid each one with my eyes closed, my lips on his. They were gentle butterfly kisses at first that soon became eager. When the last of the buttons were undone, I practically tore off his shirt and my lips found their way onto his smooth body.
